Even and Odd!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so basecally when a function is even that means that f(-x)has to be=to f(x). To prove that you are right about the function you plug your input and what ever you get from both they have to get the same to y-axis. In a graph on the top you cold see an real good example what ever you plug in (x) for example 1 the answer is 1 and if you plug in -1 you get 1 that's what I mean for even functions. Is the graph on the left.

Now Odd functions, well is just kind of like the opposite of even of course. But is the opposite down. Allright, this is the function for odd: f(x)= -f(x). This one is kind of weird yea I know. But if you understand it I will be easier. To get you started this is one of that will get you started (x,y) can only be (-x,-y).
Is the graph on the right.

If you did not understand none of this explanations and you think you could better understand in simple words just think like this even points have to be equal to the next side like left = right.
And odd teh points on the top have to be equal to the opposite bottom side. like rigth top = left bottom. :)

I'm not sure that second image is an odd function. 0_o

Great explanation of the even function Yendi! I think you have the odd function equation wrong, but that last sentence for the odd function is good. =)
